INSTITUT CURIE'S CARNOT LABEL RENEWED FOR 4 YEARS
Created in 2006, the Carnot program aims to encourage the transfer of research results to companies in order to accelerate its development and access to the greatest number of people. The Carnot label recognises and supports academic laboratories that commit to positioning partnership research at the heart of their strategy and to taking better account of the needs of the socio-economic environment. It is awarded by the French Ministry in charge of Research on the basis of a proposal from the French National Research Agency, following the assessment of a selection panel.
This renewed confidence with a very positive expert report is a strong signal of recognition for the work of all the teams involved in Curie Caner and a validation of the new strategy implemented since 2016. It is also, and above all, a demonstration of the excellence of Institut Curie's research and healthcare teams and their attractiveness to companies, which clearly find at the Institut Curie, through Curie Cancer, the expertise necessary for the development of their therapeutic products, medical devices and research tools

Over the coming years, several actions are planned to strengthen the management of the Carnot Curie Cancer as a one-stop shop capable of offering companies easier access to all the Institut Curie's expertise and to be at the service of all Institut Curie employees and its partner institutions to accelerate the transfer of their research work.
