The 12th edition of the Rendez-vous Carnot took place on October 16 and 17, 2019 in Paris Espace Champerret. Once again, the Rendez-vous Carnot have shown their effectiveness in bringing companies and R&D players together.

The Rendez-vous Carnot, with their efficient organization of pre-programmed meetings and their rich and complete offer, is a unique opportunity offered to all companies to meet, by optimizing their time, the right people to set up their innovation project. 71% of the participating companies are start-ups, SMEs or mid-cap companies, but The Rendez-vous Carnot are also appreciated by the innovation managers of large groups who find there a rare opportunity to meet, in the same place, the major R&D players of their business sectors.

The strong participation of companies carrying out innovation projects and the very large number of meetings make Rendez-vous Carnot the biggest trade fair in France for meeting between research actors and companies.The specific strong point of the Rendez-vous Carnot is to offer a rich and complete R&D offer on a wide thematic range while allowing companies to meet the best specialists in the various innovation support systems.

In 2019, the Rendez-vous Carnot also offered start-ups and innovative SMEs the opportunity to meet investors and funders. Bpifrance and WeLikeStartup were in particular present, as well as 15 other financing structures. Project leaders were able to meet the 1,100 exhibitors presenting the offer of laboratories and R&D support structures. They have thus been able to benefit from the R&D and technology offerings of 38 Carnot as well as other research laboratories, universities, engineering schools and research establishments, Labex and technology transfer structures.
