Institut Curie: Behind the technology and R&D partner
TECHNOLOGY
The start-up has an exclusive license from Institut Curie for a microfluidic device called "neuronal diode" that allows the reconstruction of functional neural networks. The company leverages a collection of ex vivo biological neural networks as building blocks to be mixed with 4step protocols to target ex-vivo the mechanism of the physiological neuronal dialogue.
Its innovative technology allows the manipulating of the brain network to change cognitive functions, and so, new breakthrough in neuroscience. Using ex vivo architectured neurons also provides new strategies/insights to identify disease modifiers to preserve human brain functions.
