Over the years, Institut Curie's Technology Transfer Office has welcomed PhD students, during one-year “doctoral missions”, and trainees. It provided them an opportunity to discover the various aspects of technology transfer and intellectual property management, to reinforce their professional experience. Here is the list of former students.

Promotion 2023

Emmanuelle Ceddaha

Emmnanuelle CEDDAHA, PharmD candidate

Emmanuelle joined Institut Curie's Start-up Division in April 2023 for an internship as a Startup Project Manager. She brought with her a strong background in pharmaceutical research and development at the Université Paris Cité to help Institut Curie' employees on their project of startup creation. Prior to joining Institut Curie, she has compiled a wealth of experience in the fields of start-up creation and fundamental research. In 2023, she began her thesis in biology.

Promotion 2022

Amale Benali

Amale BENALI, PharmD candidate

Amale joined Institut Curie's Start-up Division in April 2022 for an internship as a Business Analyst. She brought with her a strong background in pharmaceutical research and development at the Université de Paris to help Institut Curie' researchers on their project of value creation. Prior to joining Institut Curie, she did an internship in a research division in Paris Cardiovascular Research Center and a short residency in the Necker hospital. In september 2022, she joined the MiM ESSEC business school.

Tassadit Sait

Tassadit SAIT, IP Student

Tassadit is a Master’s degree student at the University of Toulouse Capitole in Intellectual Property Law. Tassadit joined Institut Curie's Intellectual Property Division in March 2022 for an internship. Trained in technology transfer and willing to acquire a first experience in this field, she took an active part in the missions of the Technology Transfer Office to support the detection and maturation of inventions from the Institut Curie's laboratories.

Tommaso GALGANI

Tommaso GALGANI, PhD

Holder of a master degree in Physics and Astronomy from University of Florence, Italy, Tommaso is recipient of a IC3i PhD international Fellowship and started his PhD at Institut Curie in 2017. Passionate by interdisciplinary projects with high tech transfer potential, he joined the Curie In’C2 initiative as a communication manager and organizer. He is now a a software QA engineer at PerkinElmer.

Mathilde MATHIEU

Mathilde MATHIEU, PhD

Holder of a master degree in Cell Biology and a diploma from ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure) Paris-Saclay, Mathilde started her PhD at Institut Curie in 2016. Trained in technology transfer and willing to enhance its education for scientists, she joined the TTO in 2017 to work on specific communication tools to promote technology transfer among the scientific and medical community within Institut Curie and to promote Institut Curie expertise towards industrial partners. She is now a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Turku (Finland).

Thomas MURARASU

Thomas MURARASU, Eng, PhD

Holder of an engineering degree from AgroParisTech, a Master of Science degree in System & Synthetic Biology from Paris V University and a PhD in Molecular & Cell Biology, Thomas joined the TTO when a third-year PhD candidate at Institut Curie, in 2016. Found of innovation and biotechnology, part of his PhD project had let him to collaborate with industrials and the TTO. In January 2017, he cofounded and organized the Curie In’C2 initiative for promoting innovation. He was an active organizer of events. He is now a research engineer at OGD2 Pharma & Activen.

Gokul RAJAN

Gokul RAJAN, PhD

Holder of a master degree in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Gokul is recipient of a IC3i PhD international Fellowship and started his PhD at Institut Curie in 2016. Experienced in popular science writing, he joined the TTO in 2017 to work on specific communication tools to promote technology transfer among the scientific and medical community within Institut Curie and to promote Institut Curie expertise towards industrial partners. He is now a neuroscientist.

Linda SILINA-2

Linda SILINA, PhD

Holder of a master degree in Genetics, Immunology and BioBusiness from the University of Aberdeen (UK), Linda is recipient of a IC3i PhD international Fellowship and started her PhD at Institut Curie in 2016. Following a BioBusiness course, meeting entrepreneurs and having first hand insight into different research fields with high translational potential has developed her interest in technology transfer. She was an operational and logistic support of the Curie In’C2 initiative for promoting innovation. She is now a medical student at the University Clermont Auvergne.

Bruno LATGE

Bruno LATGE, Eng, PhD

Holder of an engineering master degree from AgroParisTech and specialized in Biotechnology, Bruno did his PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Institut Curie. Interested in technology transfer, he joined the TTO as PhD fellow collaborator to identify and promote the expertise and skills of Institut Curie. In January 2017, he cofounded the Curie In’C2 initiative for promoting innovation. He is now in charge of the development of R&D partnerships and innovation transfer from INRAE and its academic partners to industries. He is now a business development manager at Institut Curie's spin-off Cytoo.
