An additional €5 million to strengthen Carnot institutes actions

On March, the 28th, during her visit on "GLOBAL INDUSTRIE" coference, Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation reiterated the support - particularly financial - from the government to Carnot institutes, essential organizations for the innovation of French companies. This additional €5 millions confirm Carnot institutes' central role in the innovation landscape and will enable to amplify actions at the service of companies of all sizes and in all territories.

During her speech on the occasion of her visit to "Carnot Corner" on March, the 28th, the Minister held to thank the Carnot Institutes for their work in favor of research and reconciliation between laboratories and companies, illustrated by the latest technologies and innovations presented at the show.

On this occasion, she said:

The government wants to promote programs that work and have proven themselves in the innovation landscape. This is precisely the case of the Carnot institutes which work the rapprochement between public research laboratories and companies. It is for these reasons that I decided to support them financially so as to allow them to develop further and to amplify their actions.

Philippe Véron, president of the Association des institutes Carnot added:

I thank the Minister Frédérique Vidal for her support which marks a strong sign for our network (...). It is by working together that we are able to create the innovations of tomorrow and support companies in their R & D projects in daily.
