Don't miss the 5th edition of the International and French Oncology Days (IFODS) from  June 22nd to 24th, 2022. The program will focus on consensus and guidelines for better practice in oncology. This event will take place in a format combining face-to-face meetings (Rive Montparnasse, Paris) and virtual meetings.

IFODS seeks to promote the efforts of all who fight against cancer, by sharing the best and latest developments in oncology as well as best practice guidelines. In line with this objective, IFODS will welcome Biotech Societies and also patients and patient groups to its Science Committee meetings and to a number of sessions. The conference will provide them with opportunities to learn about therapeutic approaches and to confer with healthcare providers.

On the agenda:

OPENING SESSION

The French Cancer Society (SFC) will open the congress with a session on the "Future of Oncology" organized with the support of scientists, young oncologists and for which the EACR should bring again its institutional support.

THEMATIC SESSIONS

With the aim of promulgating consensus and guidelines for better practice in oncology, the congress is organized in multiple sessions addressing key themes in oncology, with all the actors involved in the fight against cancer. Several of the sessions involve the expertise of Institut Curie physicians :

     ► "Consensus and guidelines for lung cancer", with the participation of Pr Nicolas Girard, oncologist and pulmonologist, and head of the Curie-Montsouris Thorax Institute.

    ► "The future of oncology", with the intervention of Institut Curie's medical oncologists Dr Manuel Rodrigues and Pr Jean-Yves Pierga, and Dr Carole Bouleuc, head of Institut Curie's Support Care Department.

    ► "Consensus and guidelines for breast cancer", with the participation of Institut Curie's medical oncologists Dr Paul Cottu and Pr Jean-Yves Pierga.

      ► "Gynecological cancers: "Highlights from the SGO and ASCO", with the intervention of Dr Enora Lass, surgeon at Institut Curie.

A BIOTECH IN ONCOLOGY DEDICATED SESSION

      ► "Acceleration: a key step for oncology biotechs! ", with Sebastian Amigorena, PhD, CNRS research director, head of the Immune Responses and Cancer Team at Institut Curie and scientific co-founder of Mnemo Therapeutics. Co-founded in 2019 by Institut Curie and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Mnemo Tx is focused on developing powerful cell therapies that create accessible cures.

      ► "Startup pitch", with the intervention of Pr Caroline Robert, head of the dermatology department at Gustave Roussy and co-founder of Ribonexus, with Stéphan Vagner, PhD, head of Institut Curie's Biology, Signaling and Cancer Unit (CNRS/Inserm). This onco-dermatology company was co-founded by Institut Curie and Gustave Roussy in 2021.
